Advising and Degree Audit

The BSU Catalog, Degree Works audit, and academic advisors should all be utilized to ensure that all BSU degree requirements are fulfilled. The catalog is the official resource in determining degree requirements for students. The Degree Works audit has been programmed to reflect all catalog degree requirements by program, and should serve as the primary advising tool. Academic advisors are the primary resource at BSU to assist students make appropriate course selections each semester.

To access the Degree Works audit, log into the student portal, click on InfoBear, click on the Registration & Student Information icon, and log in.

When submitting an application to graduate, the Degree Works audit should show that all requirements are complete or in-progress. The audit may reflect that an exit requirement such as successful completion of a comprehensive examination or thesis/project defense may not be complete at the time of application. Students should discuss any outstanding program requirements with their advisors and submit appropriate documentation for allowed exceptions.
