Diplomas & Transcripts
Transcripts that certify degree completion will be available only after all grades have been submitted by faculty for the semester, and all degree candidates have been reviewed as part of the final graduation clearance process. This process may take up to one month to complete beyond the end of the semester.
Official transcript requests are submitted through the Registrar's Office; information is available at the following link: https://my.bridgew.edu/departments/registrar/SitePages/Transcripts.aspx. If you need your degree posted on your transcript before it is processed, be sure to indicate this on the transcript request.
Diplomas are not given at the Commencement Ceremony but are produced after the final graduation clearance process has been completed for all degree candidates. Once ready, diplomas will be mailed to the mailing address as listed on the Application to Graduate Form. Students should confirm that address information is correct before graduating from BSU and are encouraged to complete an address change form which is available from the Registrar's Office website via the student portal.
Details regarding when transcripts and diplomas will be ready are posted on the BSU website at the Registrar's Office.
NOTE: If you have an outstanding financial obligation with BSU, neither the transcript nor the diploma will be released. Once you have cleared all outstanding debts, please notify the College of Graduate Studies so your diploma may be mailed to you.
